Chevron-type drag bits have a series of chevron-shaped blades with cutting edges that converge towards the center of the bit. These bits are effective in medium to harder formations providing enhanced cutting action. The cutting structure on the Chevron Type Drag Bit is more durable than the step type but it will also take more bore time.
